About Witchy -

Born in October 1969 in Christchurch, New Zealand.  

~ The performer ~

Grew up singing at the piano (with Mum playing). 

 Started tinkling on the Ivories when I was about 3 years old - still play by ear...didn't learn to read music.

Joined Canterbury Children's Theatre when I was 7.

Accepted into Society of Gifted Children when I was 9.

Awarded Achievement in Acting at BNZ Drama Festival 1987.

Member of Debating team - placed 1st - Bishop Lyons' Shield 1987.

Won roles in high school plays and musicals age 13 - 16.

Took up guitar at age 14. 

Member of Lex Matheson's acting troupe age 14-16.

Played netball and softball for School and age group rep for province.

 After  high school attended a Drama/Theatre course following the dream to become an actor!

 ~ The Care Giver ~

Whilst waiting to be discovered, spent just over a year as a Nanny to a hearing impaired child and his big brother.

 Learnt Australasian sign language at this time.

Moved to South Canterbury to live in 1989 where I worked as an Activities Coordinator for 5 years. 

 Spending time with the elderly helped open my eyes, mind and heart at a young age.

I started to understand that our time here is precious, fragile and unique.

I am ever grateful to each of the 110 residents I helped care for.

Back to Christchurch in 1994.

~ Career Path ~

Started as a Sales Rep' (call centre) for Telecom January 1995. 

 After 5 years there I had held various positions including:

 Trainer, Documentation Specialist, Customer Management Rep, Senior Rep and Seconded Team Leader.

Started in the FaultLine at a major electricity retailer call centre in 1999 .

Worked as Emergency FaultLine Rep', Trainer and Documentation Specialist

All of my roles allowed me to live my motto:

"Helping others to help themselves."

Met Wizard in 2000 and immediately recognised a kindred spirit! 

~ The Awakening Stirs....! ~

The year 2000 was an incredible year for me ~ my Saturn return.  So many changes.

My partner (of 12 years) and I separated early in the year. 

My Mum became ill in the middle of the year and passed away in October - just before my birthday. 

Wizard was an amazing source of strength and support at this time and our friendship blossomed and continued to grow and evolve!

 February 29, 2004 Witchy and Wizard had a 'Broom Hop' ceremony to celebrate and signify their connection - thus Wizitch was born!

~ Spiritual Awakening ~

  So far in this lifetime, it has been revealed to me that part of my destiny is to

empower others to to find their untapped potential & inner strengths. 

I encourage the celebration of different cultures, lifestyles, beliefs & ideas. 

(Imagine a world where it is safe to be proud of who you are and what you believe

 ~ if we can achieve this, we may even touch upon an enlightened state)

It's my dream to be an active member of the generation who

start to heal and respect the planet as well as one another.... 

Each of us is "Free to Be"

(every person is a star - do what thou wilt - be aware of your surroundings).

I embrace others' differences by asking questions and

seek to understand their "platform" (point of view).

 Inspired by those who give of themselves

 and understanding that giving is its own reward,

I wish to share knowledge

 and learn from 

those who also wish to share 

 I believe it is vital for our spiritual development, 

that we allow our subconscious minds access

to the energy of the Universe

 through meditation,

when we Dream

 and

when we sing & dance!
